THE HOUSE AMONG THE GRAPES
In a small village called Kajžar, in the midst of neatly arranged vineyards, far away from the fast-paced crowd, sits the Vukan House. It is filled with special energy and built from natural materials, which is immediately felt by the body and soul. The construction method and materials ensure a balance of warmth and humidity as well as natural freshness and air ionization, so there is no need for air conditioning. You will be staying in the centre of the soothing nature. You will be visited by a deer, you will witness a hopping rabbit, come across a hedgehog and be impressed by an assembly of birds. You will be able to watch the locals how they take great care of the grapevine in the spring and summer months, and how they harvest crops with respect in the autumn time. Relaxation, peace, a mixture of sounds, smells and colours of the nature and a reestablished connection with oneself – these are the key words of your holiday.
LIVING AREA WITH A DINING ROOM
On the bottom floor of the house, there is a spacious living room with a fireplace. It continues into a dining room with wide windows, which allow the sun to greet you in the morning.
SAUNA
Hisa Vukan is equipped with a beautiful new sauna in its garde.
TERRACE
The dining room opens up to the terrace, which surrounds the southern and eastern parts of the house. The roof on the southern terrace protects against the sun and the rain, while the awning on the eastern side automatically opens with the first sun rays and closes at sunset. The terrace offers a magnificent view of the green hills stretching all the way up to the city of Varaždin, which lies 26 kilometres away. In the pitch black of the night, the distant Varaždin lights conjure the feel of the seaside. The evenings offer a special experience as you can watch the sunset from the terrace. The sky dons powerful colours, which give the impression that it is burning.
KITCHEN
The living room continues into the kitchen, which witnesses the play of the natural wall colour and white furniture. It is well-equipped; most of the household appliances are hidden away in a stylish built-in wardrobe under the stairs, opposite the kitchen countertop. The kitchen is bright as it is surrounded by windows on three sides.
THE ROOM WITH A VIEW OF MIKLAVZ WITH A PRIVATE BATHROOM
Next to the toilet, there is a lovely double room with hand-made built-in wardrobes, which fit neatly into the whole design of the space. The guests in this room have a private bathroom with a washing machine. This is where the journey on the bottom floor ends. As you can see, the house is suitable for people with movement disabilities as the bottom floor provides everything needed for a quality and enjoyable stay.

STAIRS AND GALLERY
The massive oak stairs bring us to the gallery with a view of the dining room.
SOUTHERN ROOM
On the southern side next to the gallery there is a cosy room with a window looking into the dining room and an entrance into the balcony, which is most pleasant in the mornings when nature seems pristine and when you can relax watching the rising sun. If you are lucky, you can enjoy the view of the rainbow, which usually extends over the nearby hill.
BATHROOM WITH A TUB
Next to the southern room, there is a bathroom with a semi-circular bathtub, toilet and dryer. The bathroom also offers a great view. An over 60-year-old plum tree planted by my late grandmother, Marija Vukan, greets us through the skylight.
NORTHERN ROOM
The northern side of the house is occupied by a spacious room with a double bed and a futon for two people. The window has a reading light; the window sill is designed in such a way that you can read a book half lying down or enjoy the view of the church in a village two kilometres away. You can reach the village over the hills on foot in 15 minutes.
DOOR
The interior doors have been hand-made of beechwood and feature a special closing mechanism. The front door is equipped with a smart lock, allowing us to open it via the telephone.
PARKING
There is a paved space in front of the house, where you can park at least two cars.

House is built from natural, eco-friendly material, what gives a nice atmosphere and climate inside of the house.

Hisa Vukan has 3 bedrooms, with all 3 king-sized beds. In one room next to a king size bed there also is a two person sofa bed.
Bathrooms
There's a total of 2 bathrooms, with one bath and 1 rain shower, towels included.
WiFi
Hisa Vukan is equiped with fast WiFi throughout the whole house.
